Pure nature & culture

You start the day calmly. Strengthen yourself with a healthy breakfast before being transported by one of the five cable cars and lifts, for example to the Schmittenhöhe. Enjoy the fabulous view of more than 30 three-thousand-metre peaks. Nothing stands in the way of a high-altitude hike. Without much effort you secure a mountain adventure.

How about a boat trip on Lake Zell afterwards? This is a wonderfully relaxed way to get to know your holiday destination better. Do you love comfort and luxury? Climb aboard the "MS Schmittenhöhe". Or would you prefer a little trip back in time? Imperial style awaits you on the round trip with the "Empress Elisabeth", the Sissy.

Lake Zell, one of the purest bathing lakes, has invited you? Let's go to one of the three lidos. By the way, each lido also has a solar-heated swimming pool. If the weather is not on its best side, swim your laps in the indoor pool, just a 5-minute walk away. For culture enthusiasts, we recommend a visit to the Vogtturm town museum, the oldest building in the town. You can also learn something about the country and its people in the local history museum: traditional costumes, rural life and craftsmanship to touch.

Throughout the summer, you can also use the special evening bus connections between Zell am See and Kaprun to get to the numerous events and attractions comfortably and quickly.

From mid-May to mid-October, for example, head after dinner to the Zeller Seezauber, the music, light and laser show, or for a cocktail at the Zeller Sommernachtsfest, which immerses the alleys of the town in a unique flair with music and traditional food.
